The world's first predictive retail intelligence system.
Predict how likely a product, brand or trend is to succeed in any retail environment.
Really Good Culture builds Breakthrough, the predictive retail intelligence system the UK's major retail operators use to decide what goes on shelf. The same intelligence is available to the brands trying to get there.
Breakthrough
Our predictive retail intelligence system, built upon seven interconnected dimensions of intelligence. It models the Shopper Missions, Archetypes, Mindshare, Trends and Whitespace behind every range decision.
Watch Humans
Our video review platform: a profiled community of around 10,000 shoppers recording long-form video reviews of products. The behavioural signal behind Breakthrough.
EPOS shows one historical scenario. Breakthrough models the futures it cannot reach.
EPOS shows what already happened. Breakthrough models what hasn't: the launches not yet made, the ranges not yet set, the trends still forming.
Most brands walk into a buyer meeting with a sales story the buyer has already seen. It's not until they see something different that they lean in.
What we heard.
A loyal fixture, real credentials, and a grocery conversation that keeps landing on the same question: why MOMO, not the next Kombucha.
"It's not just another Kombucha."
MOMO is always well received. Ocado, Whole Foods, Gail's and Nando's all stock it, no retailer has ever delisted the brand, and once it's on shelf it sells. What keeps the bigger conversations stalling is not the product, and it is not credibility. It is that every buyer meeting still has to work out why MOMO is different from the next Kombucha on the shelf.
The whitespace hasn't been named yet
Flavour, naturalness, or a specific health mission: the gap is real, but nobody's claimed it yet. Buyers range against a claimed position, not a product list. Read as "another Kombucha" and you're one more SKU in a crowded set. Own a named mission and you're the gap they need to fill.
The premium lane is worth defending
Chasing volume through discounters isn't the play. A premium brand's job is penetration and average selling price, not competing on cost. B Corp, women-built, London living wage, a bottle instead of a copycat can: that's the substance a premium range needs to keep proving.
Find the white space, defend the premium.
The data and two full days with Sean, turned into a position MOMO can own.
Kick-off
60 minutes: your retailer, the health missions in scope, what the range review has to prove. Reviews land February to April, so a Spring launch means buyer meetings in September or early October.
Trends & Missions Data Pack
Cultural, micro, macro and digital signals scored against your category, so trend calls come from data, not instinct. Every Shopper Mission mapped against the current Kombucha and functional drinks set at your chosen retailer, with the Mindshare read: which brands own which missions, and where nobody has taken hold.
The positioning session
A full day with Sean, our retail expert and an ex-Tesco Category Director. We decide which health mission MOMO claims, which products carry it, what comes off the table, and what the brand says on pack, online and in buyer meetings. Where the whitespace outruns the range, we'll flag NPD worth considering.
The buyer session
A second full day, focused on your retailer. We build one buyer narrative from the territory, the data and your rate-of-sale material: the mission they're underserving, the archetypes it sits with, and where MOMO beats the next Kombucha on their fixture.
Final run-through
60 minutes before the first buyer meeting. Sean checks the offer, the narrative and the deck, and we make final tweaks while there's still time. No charge, part of the engagement.
Watch Humans, the bolt-on.
Real shoppers from your target retailer, on camera, trying MOMO. An optional add-on.
Watch Humans video reviews
Standard programme: £599 a month for 10 reviews. For this project we run all three months at once: 30 video reviews from profiled shoppers at your target retailer, with transcripts and would-buy-before/after markers on every review.
Every video doubles as social content.
The full programme
The complete case, in sequence: the data sets the territory and the language, and real shoppers on camera prove buyers would pay a premium for it. This is the one we would run.
The products.
The full set behind this proposal, so the choices are easy to see.
Next steps.
Confirm The Plan
The data pack, the two days with Sean, or both. Name your retailer. Add Watch Humans now or decide later.
Kick off (date TBC)
60 minutes to set the brief. The data build starts the same day.
Decide on Watch Humans at day one
No need to commit now. By day one you'll have the territory and language, and can decide whether to test them with shoppers first.
The buyer meetings
Data lands in week two, the positioning day follows, then the buyer day, and the final run-through in the days before the meeting. Everything is in place before the next range review.
